What is a Pre-Engineered Steel Building?
Pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB) are structural concepts consisting of primary members, secondary members, and roof/wall sheeting connected together. These buildings are custom-designed to be lighter in weight yet high in strength, allowing for various additions such as skylights, mezzanine floors, and crane systems.
Versatile Applications
Pre-Engineered Buildings are the most flexible solutions for contractors and owners, offering low cost and fast erection across various sectors:
🏢 Industrial
Factories, Workshops, Warehouses, Cold Storages, Steel Mills, Assembly Plants.
🏬 Commercial
Showrooms, Supermarkets, Offices, Shopping Centers, Restaurants, Logistic Centers.
Why Choose Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings?
💰
Cost Savings: Prices can be 25%-30% lower than conventional steel buildings with minimal site erection costs.
⚡
Quick Erection: Requires 60% less construction time compared to traditional reinforced concrete buildings.
🔧
Flexibility: Easy to expand in the future and economically efficient for transportation.
🌿
Energy Efficiency: A green solution with CO2 reduction, high recyclability, and excellent energy performance.
Core Components
1. Primary Members / Main Frames
Includes columns, rafters, and support members that carry the main load of the building.
2. Secondary Members & Panels
Secondary Framing: Purlins, girts, and eave struts with minimum yield strength of 345 MPa.
Roof & Wall Panels: Standard thicknesses of 0.3mm to 0.6mm, hot-dipped and galvanized with zinc-aluminum coating for corrosion resistance.
Manufacturing Process & Quality Control
A. Material Receiving: Dimensional and visual QC inspection, verifying MTC heat numbers.
B. Preparation: CNC plate processing including plasma cutting, punching, and drilling.
C. Fit-up & Welding: Automated submerged arc welding and MIG welding following GB50661-2011 standards.
Shot Blasting & Painting
Surfaces are cleaned to Grade SA 2/2.5. Painting includes primer and finish coats with airless sprayers to ensure a glossy, even finish of 125-150μm thickness.

Frequently Asked Questions
❓ What is the typical life cycle of these steel buildings?
Our pre-engineered steel buildings are designed for long-term durability, typically lasting between 30 to 50 years with proper maintenance.
❓ How much can I save by choosing PEB over traditional construction?
PEB systems can offer cost savings of 25% to 30% per square meter compared to conventional steel or concrete buildings due to efficient design and reduced labor.
❓ What certifications do your products hold?
Our manufacturing processes and products are certified by ISO9001, CE, and SGS, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.
❓ Can the buildings be customized for specific industrial needs?
Yes, all buildings are custom-designed based on specific requirements, including mezzanine floors, crane systems, and specialized insulation.
❓ How fast is the erection process?
The erection process is significantly faster because all components are pre-fabricated and bolt-connected on-site, requiring up to 60% less time than traditional methods.
❓ Are the materials used environmentally friendly?
Yes, steel is highly recyclable. Our PEB solutions are considered "green" due to reduced waste, energy efficiency, and lower CO2 footprint during construction.
